Biography

Tyrell Pearson returns for his fourth season with the Barnstormers and fifth season in the Indoor Football League. After taking some time off of football, Pearson joined the Arizona Rattlers in 2021 where he recorded 56 tackles, 24 pass breakups, four interceptions, two fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble in route to earning Second Team All-IFL honors.

Pearson played two seasons at Mesa Community College before transferring to the University of South Alabama (2012-2013). As a Jaguar in his junior season in 2012, he started all 13 games and earned third team All-Sun Belt honors. He also was second in the league with 1.15 passes defended per game and tied for fifth in interceptions per game.
