Biography

Robert Washington joins the Barnstormers for his first season in the Indoor Football League. He spent one season at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (2016), played one season at Old Dominion University (2019) and finished his career at Valparaiso University (2021).

As a true freshman, Washington played in all 12 games as a 49er and finished second on the team in rushing yards with 489. In 2021 as a Beacon, Washington was named the program’s first Pioneer Football League Offensive Player of the Year since the award began in 2001 and was also a first-team All-PFL member.
