Biography

Ian McBorrough returns for his third season with the Barnstormers. Appearing in 10 games last season after being sidelined for an early season injury, he racked up 46 total tackles and five tackles for loss. In his first Indoor Football League (IFL) season in 2022, McBorrough had 83.5 total tackles, two sacks and 17 tackles for loss, leading the team to a 9-7 record and a playoff berth.

McBorrough was a two-time All-MEAC first team linebacker at Morgan State University (2016-2019) where he finished his career with 252 total tackles (fifth in school history), ten sacks, three forced fumbles and two interceptions in 44 games. He also was named to the 2019 watch list for the Black College Football Player of the Year Award and William V. Campbell Trophy.
