Bailey Returns to Barnstormers
LB Ameris Caleb Bailey Returns for 2021 Season

DES MOINES – The Iowa Barnstormers have re-signed linebacker Ameris Caleb Bailey to the 2021 roster, Head Coach Ameer Ismail announced today.

Bailey (6-0, 230, Western Michigan University) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his first season with the team. In 2019, Bailey appeared in three games with the Green Bay Blizzard where he collected 14 total tackles and one interception. Collegiately, Bailey played four years at Western Michigan University. During his time with the Broncos, Bailey collected 221 total tackles including 116 solo, 32 tackles for loss, five sacks, two interceptions, three fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble.

Bailey initially joined the Barnstormers roster for the 2020 season, earning a spot on the team’s final 25-man roster before the season’s cancellation due to COVID-19.

Bailey will re-enter the Iowa Barnstormers Training Camp for the 2021 season in the Spring.
