Brown Returns to Barnstormers
Wide receiver Rob Brown re-signs for 2021 season
DES MOINES – The Iowa Barnstormers have re-signed veteran wide receiver Rob Brown to the 2021 roster, Head Coach Ameer Ismail announced today.
Brown (5-9, 180, Union College) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his first season with the team. Brown joins the roster with plenty of indoor experience having previously spent time with the Tri-Cities Fever, Nebraska Danger, Maine Mammoths, and Orlando Predators.
Collegiately, Brown played at Union College as a running back where he recorded an impressive 4,500 all-purpose yards and 26 rushing touchdowns during his time with the Dutchmen.
It's no coincidence that Rob Brown shares a similar name to an earlier signing. Brown first joined the Barnstormers roster during the 2020 Training Camp, earning a spot on the final roster alongside his twin brother, defensive back Robert Brown, Jr., before the season’s ultimate cancelation due to COVID-19.
Both Rob Brown and his brother Robert will enter the Iowa Barnstormers 2021 Training Camp in the spring.
Information regarding the Iowa Barnstormers 2021 season will be available soon.
