Iowa Barnstormers Kickoff 2023 Training Camp

DES MOINES – Iowa Barnstormers General Manager Juli Pettit and Head Coach Dave Mogensen unveiled plans today regarding the team's 2023 Training Camp.

Training Camp officially opens this week, when 34 athletes from around the country will touch down in Des Moines. These athletes will work to earn a spot on the Barnstormers 2023 roster over the next week. Throughout the 2023 Training Camp, team practices will take place at the MidAmerican RecPlex in West Des Moines. Training Camp practices are closed to the general public.

Fans are invited to Meet the Coaches on Saturday, March 18 at Kelly's Little Nipper, where they may also meet some of the 2023 Barnstormer hopefuls. The event will take place from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Enjoy $1 onion rings and Barnstormers themed drink specials including "The Moges" and the "Barnstormer Bomb." Kelly's Little Nipper is located at 1701 E Grand Avenue in Des Moines.

Fans can officially Meet the Team on Wednesday, March 22 at Mugsy's Pizza House and Irish Sports Pub at 6:00 p.m where the final 2023 roster will be there for a meet and greet. More details to come. Mugsy's is located at 1225 Copper Creek Drive Suite A in Pleasant Hill.

The Iowa Barnstormers 2023 Training Camp is presented by AmericInn by Wyndham and Montana Mike's Steakhouse.
