WR Brandon Martin Joins Barnstormers 2023 Roster

DES MOINES – The Iowa Barnstormers have signed wide receiver Brandon Martin to the 2023 roster, Head Coach Dave Mogensen announced today.

Martin (6-5, 215, Grandview University) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his rookie Indoor Football League (IFL) season. Collegiately, Martin began his career at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College where he played for one season collecting 23 receptions for 327 yards and four touchdowns. He also earned many accolades ranking as the No. 2 player and No. 1 wide receiver in the ESPN JC50. Martin then spent time with the Arkansas Razorbacks before completing his collegiate career at Grandview University here in Des Moines.  

"We are very excited to land Brandon, his journey in itself shows how much dedication and tenacity he has," said Head Coach Mogensen. "His background as a highly recruited 4-star player earned him scholarship offers from numerous Power 5 Universities. He showed at Arkansas that he is a special player, but overcoming the adversity he had there and finding his way to Grandview showed his true dedication and mental strength. Brandon is an elite athlete with an NFL style frame. If he can catch on to the nuances of the indoor game, he could be a deadly addition to our offense in 2023."
