DL Travonte Valentine Signs with Barnstormers

DES MOINES – The Iowa Barnstormers have signed defensive lineman Travonte Valentine to the 2019 roster, Head Coach Dixie Wooten announced today.

Valentine (6-4, 295, Louisiana State) joins the Iowa Barnstormers for his first season in the Indoor Football League (IFL). Out of high school, Valentine was a highly touted defensive tackle who earned opportunity with Louisiana State University.

“Signing Valentine will make our d-line one of the best in the league,” said Coach Wooten. “He is a big time game changer. I expect him to come in to camp in shape and hungrier than ever. He has something to prove and the first day of camp I believe he will show us why he is special.”
